We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex international projects, including data centres and industrial facilities, from planning to completion. In this role, you will hold full accountability for successful delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality targets are met while driving collaboration across all stakeholders. The location for this role is flexible and can be based at any Nordec location.
You will act as the primary point of contact for international clients, building strong relationships and ensuring that project goals and customer expectations are achieved. This position requires coordination of multiple subcontractors and diverse teams across borders, making strong leadership and organisational skills essential.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and closure.
Managing scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
Acting as the main interface with international customers, ensuring smooth collaboration and transparent communication.
Driving change management, contractual compliance, and reporting.
Maintaining financial health through forecasting, cost tracking, and budget control.
Coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensuring documentation, quality standards, and smooth project handover.
Key success factors in this role:
Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., civil engineer or master’s degree in construction) and proven experience in project management.
Extensive experience in leading large, complex projects and managing subcontractors.
Strong track record in working with international key accounts and multicultural project environments.
Multiple years of experience in scheduling, quality, safety, and cost management.
Previous experience from complex data centre projects is highly valued.
Fluent in English; Finnish, Swedish, and French language skills are an advantage.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
Willingness to travel, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
