We are looking for a

Subcontracting Manager for procurement of steel structures

to join to our team in one of our locations (Helsinki, Peräseinäjoki, Vaasa, Gargzdai or any other our locations)

As a Subcontracting Manager you are responsible for

• Procurement of steel structures in designated projects

• Total cost of ownership of your own purchases including:

  Quality, technical questions, manufacturing methods, logistics, delivery schedule, status reporting and claim handling

• Developing and maintaining our steel frame supplier network together with rest of the team

• Pricing of subcontracted elements in sales phase

• Close collaboration with the subcontracting team, project and site management and logistics

To succeed in this role, you meet most of the following requirements

• Relevant technical or economical education or equivalent work experience

• Experience of steel manufacturing or construction

• Experience of Supply Chain Management or Procurement

• Knowledge of welding technology

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

• Good interaction and negotiations skills

• English language skills

We have several open positions in our steel frame subcontracting department, and the role can be tailored according to the applicant’s experience, skills, and preferences.

Some travelling is expected in this role.
