We’re seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Project Planner to lead the development and maintenance of our project schedule framework. In this role, you will drive smooth progress across all phases from design and engineering to procurement, production, installation, and commissioning.
You will provide accurate and transparent scheduling data that supports informed decision‑making, early risk identification, and reliable delivery. As a central partner to multidisciplinary teams, you offer essential schedule insights that strengthen project certainty, cost control, and effective resource coordination. The position can be based on any Nordec location or anywhere in EU, and the role includes occasional travel to project sites.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Build and manage the integrated master schedule, ensuring clear milestones, structures, and interdependencies.
Monitor and control project progress and risks, highlighting deviations and enabling timely corrective actions.
Produce schedule reports and forecasts, that provide project leadership clear visibility into timelines.
Conduct critical path analyses and scenario planning.
Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and partners to keep everyone aligned on schedule expectations.
Support change management.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in project planning within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial project environments. Previous experience specifically in the construction industry is seen as a benefit.
Skilled in schedule management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to make complex information easy to understand.
Understanding of project lifecycle phases and cross‑functional dependencies.
Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of Swedish and Finnish is considered an advantage.
