We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Manager to ensure that all contractual obligations within our projects are clearly defined, fulfilled, and efficiently managed throughout the entire project lifecycle. In this key role, you will serve as the primary owner of contract governance, supporting the Project Manager, Commercial Lead, and Engineering & Construction teams in interpreting contract requirements, managing changes, mitigating claims, and safeguarding contractual compliance with both clients and subcontractors.
The Contract Manager plays a central role in risk management, variation order handling, and dispute avoidance, ensuring that the project’s commercial and contractual position remains protected. This includes maintaining full visibility of entitlements, obligations, and deadlines, as well as facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and legal/commercial functions.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Ensure full understanding and governance of main and subcontract agreements.
Align project teams with all contractual obligations, deliverables, and notice requirements.
Lead preparation and evaluation of change requests, variations, claims, and EoT.
Assess contractual and financial impacts of scope changes, delays, and unforeseen events.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks while supporting early issue resolution.
Support drafting and reviewing subcontract agreements and monitor subcontractor compliance.
Prepare and issue contractual notices, letters, and formal communications.
Maintain structured documentation for claims, disputes, and project records.
Provide contractual input for reporting, forecasting, invoicing, and scheduling.
Act as the internal advisor in client/subcontractor meetings and support legal escalations.
Requirements
Strong experience in contract management within EPC, construction, industrial, or large‑scale project environments.
Solid understanding of commercial terms, risk allocation, and standard EPC contract models.
Proven experience in managing claims, variations, and negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
Ability to interpret both technical and commercial documents and communicate clearly across disciplines.
Structured and detail-oriented working style with high documentation accuracy.
