We are looking for an Installation Procurement Manager to secure Nordec’s capacity and competitiveness by sourcing subcontracted site installation services for our projects.
In this role, you are responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, and commercial management of installation subcontracts in Nordec’s building and industrial projects.
You work closely with Sales, Project, and Site Management while being part of Nordec’s Procurement organization. Your focus is to develop and manage our subcontractor network, screen and select partners, negotiate and finalize commercial contracts, and provide occasional support during execution-phase commercial follow-up.
You will also train Project and Site Management teams in purchasing and contract management practices, contributing to consistent and professional ways of working across the organization.
The role combines ownership and hands-on work and requires a practical, structured, and solution-oriented approach. Regular travel to project sites is required.
Your key responsibilities
Develop and maintain a reliable installation subcontractor network
Screen, evaluate, and pre-qualify subcontractors
Manage RFQs and structured tender processes aligned with project schedules
Lead commercial negotiations and prepare subcontract agreements
Define scope boundaries, pricing models, and contractual terms
Ensure proper commercial documentation and flow-down of main contract requirements
Support site-level commercial follow-up during project execution
Contribute to long-term installation sourcing strategy and continuous improvement
What we expect
Solid experience in subcontract procurement within construction or industrial projects
Good understanding of site installation work and project interfaces, including claims and variation handling
Strong contractual competence and commercial negotiation skills
Practical, collaborative, and goal-oriented working style
Strong HSE and QA/QC awareness and ability to ensure contractor compliance
Strong cross-functional communication skills
Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage
Relevant education in engineering, construction management, or commercial discipline
Structured approach to documentation and risk management
Experience in international project environments
