We are looking for a Master Data and Migration Trainee to support Nordec in developing and maintaining high-quality master data in an ERP environment.

At Nordec, accurate and well-structured master data is essential for smooth business operations across countries and functions. In this role, you will contribute to the creation, maintenance, and migration of master data as part of cross-functional teams together with subject matter experts and ERP specialists. You will not be working alone, but collaboratively with experienced colleagues who support you in your tasks and learning.

As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience with core business processes and data-related work in an international company. The role offers a practical view of how finance, procurement, production, project management, and HR processes are connected through shared data.

This position is well suited for a student who wants to apply their analytical and technical skills in a real business environment and learn how master data supports modern ERP systems and decision-making.

The role is full-time from April to the beginning of September. There is also a possibility to continue supporting the work on a part-time basis during the following fall and winter.

What will do you

Your responsibilities may include, for example:

Helping in creating Nordec’s master data together with subject experts, management, and ERP consultants
Creating and maintaining processes for master data quality measurement
Supporting policies for master data creation and changes
Supporting master data migrations and updates in an ERP environment
Coordinating subject experts and ERP consultants in data-related work
Creating and using tools to support the creation, analysis, and migration of large datasets

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a trainee who:

Is a second- to fourth-year university student, for example in engineering or business studies
Has the ability to take ownership and responsibility for the tasks at hand
Is precise with numbers and data
Has a basic understanding of finance and accounting
Can create and use solutions with SQL, Python, and Excel
