We are looking for a
Senior Sourcing Specialist
to join our team in Oborniki, Poland.
As Senior Sourcing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Nordec’s sourcing capabilities across Central and Eastern Europe. You’ll work closely with project and sales teams to shape supplier strategies, manage negotiations and contracts, and build long-term partnerships. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to sourcing activities in an international environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead sourcing activities for assigned product categories in the CEE region, including among others inquiries, negotiations and contracts
- Collaborate with project and sales teams during tenders to support scope, pricing and RFQs
- Ensure a competitive and qualified supplier base
- Develop strategic sourcing plans and frame agreements with the Category Manager
- Strengthen Nordec’s supplier network and sourcing strategy in the CEE area
Key success factors in this role are
- Experience in procurement for construction projects, as well as familiarity with the specifics of working on a construction site
- MSc or BSc in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in project sourcing within the construction industry
- Fluent in spoken and written Polish and English
- Additional languages such as Czech or German are considered an advantage
- Strong negotiation and networking skills
- Proven ability to lead change and manage sourcing strategy
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems such as MS D365 or SAP
- Knowledge of the requirements for products used on the German market will be an additional advantage
